Get moving against violence against women 2017
TMB supports aid for abused women and joins the campaign to raise awareness of violence against women.
“Get moving against violence against women” is the cause chosen by TMB staff for 2017 as part of its social programme "Choose your cause". In the last quarter of the year a series of events will take place to raise awareness of the discrimination and inequality existing in a system in which men exert power over women.
This type of violence appears in couples, families, work and social environments and communities, and can be physical, economic or psychological, including threats, intimidation and coercion. The result is physical, sexual or psychological harm, whether it takes place in public or in private.
