When: From 05.10.2026

Where: Estació Universitat (vestíbul L2)

Access: Validating the transort ticket

Lawyer and keynote speaker Paula Fernández Ochoa, daughter and niece, respectively, of Olympic skiing champions Paco and Blanca Fernández Ochoa, joins journalist Adam Martín for a conversation about the impact of suicide and mental health challenges on those left behind, and about how to rebuild a meaningful and positive life after such experiences.

A consultant and speaker in high-performance environments, Paula Fernández Ochoa combines strategy, leadership and emotion to inspire individuals and organizations to achieve their best selves. She also shares how she turned a difficult experience into an opportunity for personal growth, learning to listen to herself, put things into perspective, and live with greater purpose and awareness.

The event, which will take place on 5 October at 12 pm at Universitat (L1 and L1) station, aims to support those indirectly affected by suicide and raise awareness of this reality.

Get moving for suicide prevention

Paula’s talk marks the launch of the Move for Suicide Prevention programme, the social cause chosen this year by TMB employees through the Choose Your Cause initiative.

In collaboration with the Fundació Ajuda i Esperança, the project aims to raise public awareness of an issue that affects hundreds of people every year and to highlight the resources available for its prevention. Throughout the last quarter of the year, a range of awareness-raising activities will be carried out, along with training and support initiatives for TMB staff.
